THE GOSPELS AND THE KEY:
A Year-long study of the Gospels along with Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy
________________________
Mary Baker Eddy tells us in Science and Health (p. 109), “For three years after my discovery, I sought the solution of this problem of Mind-healing, searched the Scriptures and read little else, kept aloof from society, and devoted time and energies to discovering a positive rule.”
Each month the readings pair passages from the Gospels with chapters or portions of chapters from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Although the selections from Science and Health do not necessarily explain each specific Gospel, they are related.
The motive for this study is to learn to heal as Christ Jesus healed. The purpose is to join together in a humble, prayerful approach to a deeper understanding of the Bible and Science and Health.
Let’s embark on this month’s adventure to discover the “positive rule” that Mary Baker Eddy also searched for in the Scriptures and shared with us in Science and Health.
